Parineeti Chopra

Belt: Matthew Williamson (Net-a-Porter), Shoes: River Island (Asos), Ring: PL by Peter Lang (Asos), Lipstick: YSL Rouge Pur Couture – 1 Le Rouge – Blood Red (Sephora.com)
The jumpsuit looks great on Parineeti Chopra but the colour does nothing for her, or for that matter, Indian skin-tones. Yellows rarely work. Going with the current trend, a pastel pink, lavender or blue should have been the choice of color for this outfit. We opted for a simple t-strap sandal to elongate her figure instead of the closed-toe pump. Also, since we added the belt to accentuate her figure, we would get rid of the cuff – too distracting – and just add a simple ring. Last but not least, that hairstyle – it’s been done so many times. We would love to see Parineeti in this softer undo.

Shoes: Asos, Earrings: Erickson Beamon (Net-a-Porter), Lipstick: YSL Rouge Pur Couture – 26 Rose Libertin – Bright Purple Pink

Kalki Koechlin is a beautiful women but the styling of this dress is reminiscent of a teenager in the ’90s. The dress demands attention, so the rest of the look needs to be streamlined – to do that, we went with a minimal sandal, natural hair and a pink pout to brighten up the face. Also, the dress is too long on her and needs to hit at mid-calf.
P.S. While that is a beautiful colour, which is flattering on practically everyone, we would love to see this dress in white.

Shoes: Jimmy Choo Mirrored-Leather Sandals (Net-a-Porter), Earrings: Eddie Borgo (Le Mill), Clutch: Charlotte Olympia (Nordstrom.com), Lipstick: Bobbi Brown Creamy Lip Color – Uber Pink – Medium True Pink (Sephora)

That is one fabulous dress, it just screams luxury, which means the rest of look should scream luxury too. First off, the dress needs to be longer; a long dress always has to hit the floor and there’s no two-ways about that. We love a burgundy lip but it really clashes with the red and white, so we opted for a pinkish-nude lip instead. We finished the look with these gold-geometric earrings to contrast with the femininity of the lace. A sandal to show some toe-cleavage and a practically-transparent clutch that doesn’t distract from the “awesomeness” that is this dress.
P.S. Since this is a wish-list of sorts, ideally we would’ve preferred the lining to match the dress. Sometimes we’re traditionalists like that.
